I am looking to get some tires for the truck I am looking for 33 X 12.5 on some 17" rims. I was wondering what everyone recommended, I have looked at all the toyo, falken, and nitto. And was wondering if there was something out there a little cheaper with still the nice aggressive off road look. I know not going to find them super cheap being the size I want but just want to know if there is any other options I am looking over.

I've run many AT and MT tires over the years. The Falken wild peak, and the GY Wrangler Duratracs would be my top recommendation for an AT. Duratracs work extremely well as a mud terrain hybrid as well. I will be running the same tire size you want, very soon. I will be going GY.

just a heads up that if you are planning on running that size on stock wheels you will need wheel spacers

On the discount tire website it doesn't show the GY duratracs available in the 33X12.5X17 it just says 33X12.5X15 which I am guessing won't fit the 17" rims.

They do a 285/70R17. It runs like a 33x11.5. Excellent tire, and it looks great as well.

I'm rocking the duratracs in a 285 70 17 with -12 offset on a leveled 05 they Are perfect IMO. Look awesome and perform everywhere.

I would recommend anything by Toyo/Nitto... Nitto is made by Toyo... Their manufacturing process involves banding around a cylinder rather than a band bonded at one point. The banding results in a less out of balance tire and smaller weights to offset this manufacturing fault. I had major issues last summer with my BFGs losing rubber under light use, and the replacement BFGs couldn't be balanced. I went to Nitto and haven't looked back. They are wearing very well and handle well on road/light off road use. I highly recommend them.

I'm saving up for a set if nitto terra grapplers. Best price I've found is $301 for 275/65-20 10 ply.
