2015 ram 1500 with 20s running 33x21.5 it only rubs at full lock in reverse with no level or lift. 100% stock.

I'm running 285/70r17" with Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 10 plies and 2 1/4" front level with plenty of clearance. Rebels come stock with same size rims and tires with plenty of clearance. You will be okay.

Same, I'm certain you can run those tires.

I don't have first hand experience with the 2wd suspension but on my 4wd suspension using stock Ram 17x8" wheels the 285/70r17 clear the ball joint by only a few millimeters. It's enough clearance that they never rub (no paint rubbed off the UCA) so there is no problem - clear is clear. I'm guessing you'll be fine too but take a look at your ball joint clearance anyway to be sure.
