I went from a 33 to a 34 and it threw mine off by 2 mph. I believe some of the tire websites have a calculator to determine the difference. I'll see if I can find it for ya.

(New Tire Diameter / Original Tire Diameter) X Indicated Speed = Actual Speed with new tires

Will it make the speedo slower or faster? I am going to be putting these tires on the stock rims. I figured going with the 285 will have less chance of rubbing than the 295 or 305's

Let to this one
285s won't throw it off to bad, itll be 3.5% to slow, so more noticeable at highway speeds
When your speedo says 60 your really doing 62.5
35s will cause it to be 10% off
285s fill the wheel well out great on quad cab short beds but still look tiny on quad cab long bed

I wanna say 285/70/17 dynapro mt. I'm at school so I can't check. 285/70 is a more typical tire size, more opting for less
285/75 will fit with out any problems to
If you go with the 285/75 you'll be closer to 7% slow on your speedometer

Off topic but how far from wellsville are you, I've ride. Dirtbilkes ou there a few times alot of nice hill climbs

I finally got the Nitto's. 285/75/17 and they look awesome. Plenty of clearance and make the truck look way better than with those little 265's. I ordered them from tirebuyer.com and got em for $850 installed.

I love my NITTO Terra Grapplers. No noise at all, great wear pattern. I'm running a 275/65-20 which comes out to about a 34" tire. I have a little rubbing at full lock if I hit a bump but I think that's just because of the offset of the wheels. On stock wheels I don't think they'd even come close to rubbing.

you can definitely fit 35's, don't know if the width would be a problem(is that on stock wheels?)
