tire size/rims

Lt265/75r16 is my tire size.
Should I get 8 or 10 inch wide rims? Looking for a steel wheel BTW.

7 inch is fine for a 265.

You could mount them on an 8 inch rim, but there'd be no reason to, unless it's a styling issue.

10's would be way to wide. 8 is just right and you could go up one or two sizes later.

I got the Pro comp 52s. Chrome center cap. Black lug nuts.

I run 265's on 9" wide rims and it looks good i think. No stretching or anything.
