When I change out my stock tires I would like to go 295 60 20. I was told not an issue with at least a level (2.1" on my 2018 Ram). But 295 without the lvl would be dicey. Other thing is finding 295 65 20. Pretty rare so very pricey. Guy at 4 wheel parts looked at their inventory and while we found tons of tires not one 65 option. Also with the offset of factory rims that would be too close to a rub situation for me. Maybe you'd be ok trimming. Don't want to do that on my wheel liners.

Can someone confirm a 275/65/20 on all stock truck fit without issue?

You’ll want to level for that size of tire. I think you would also want aftermarket wheel with at least a 0 offset. If you really want to keep the stock wheels you’ll be running spacers so you don’t rub.

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but man, do they ever come up with some great ideas.

I’m running 295/60/20 atturo trailblazer xt on my 2017 1500 no lift no level and no rub even at full lock but it’s a tight fit.

Nope ... He might “want” to, but he wouldn’t have to ... Post right above is proof

The post above was for a slightly smaller tire. The previous post listed a 295/60/20 which is a little over an inch shorter then the 295/65/20 the op was asking about. The post before I bet that that tire is also on aftermarket wheels with a different offset them the oem wheels the op is wanting to use. Here is my truck with 295/65/20’s on it with a 2.8” level. The wheels have a 0 offset. Imagine the front of the truck sitting 2.8 inches closer to the tires. It wouldn’t take much to rub. The clearance I have between the tire and the front suspension would be gone with the oem offset and I’m sure the tires sidewall would rub on the suspension.

Nope I run those 295/60/20 on stock chrome clads. I have 3/4” gap to the a arm and at full lock there’s still 1/2” of clearance all around no trimming necessary. That being said the atturo runs about 34.8” x 11.5 wide and I’ll admit the 295/65’s would not clear, yes you could trim the shroud but no way around the suspension without some kind of offset. That’s on a 2017 bighorn not sure how that differs from other models.

I'm looking at going to 295/65/20 for my next tires as well. I'm currently running 275/65/20 Cooper Discoverer STT Pro's with a 4 inch lift.

295/65/20 do fit after trying a friends on my stock but if you want to turn anywhere your going to need to trim a good bit atleast on mine. It did clear suspension however. The tire also did not have much tread left. Just figured I’d let you k ow and try it for you.
