Any of you guys have 18"s on 33"s or 20"s on 33"s?

If you do, please post up some pics and include size of rim (like 18x9) and the size of the tire as well as the make/model of tire.

Thanks guys!!

You gonna put the 2.5" on before?

Btw, it's a lot cheaper to buy wider 16's, plus the tires are cheaper too. but I think I'm partial to a good amount of sidewall though lol

I have some new, nice black/chrome highlight rims that are 16x8 on new 285/75/16 MT'S but 16"s are too small for me(probably sell for about $1200 because both only have 3000 miles on them).
I'm putting a 2.5" spacer up front but leaving the rear stock so biggest tire I can fit is about a 33.5-34 because the rear is the limiting factor because I want the front end higher

metric sizes I'm looking for is
275/70/18
285/70/18
305/65/18
275/60/20
285/60/20
305/55/20

Or..

33x12.5x18
33x12.5x20

Or any other size close to those. I just want to see some 18"s and 20"s on our 2nd Gens to see if I want 18s or 20s

Looked at tires in person and leaning more toward 20"s

But concerned that 275/60r20 (33x10.8x20) will not have enough tire to it to protect my rims from the mild offroading I do. What your thoughts?

some numbers:

Side wall on 20"s is about 6.5"
side wall on 18"s is about 7.5"

6.5" is the thuging look? I've also though 20"s as of the I have money and don't cut corners by spray painting my rims :rofl:

Not necessarily i was just refreferring to how as wheels start to go over 20" it tends to be more of the guys that think they're gangsters putting them on lol

I agree! I think you need at least 5-6" of side wall On the tire/rim setup

I'm thinking I'm eventually going to get a set of 17x9 5x5.5 bolt pattern us mag Indy "aluminum slot"wheels for my 2000 dodge ram 1500 probably with either a older but decent set of kumho road venture mt KL71 ,or Goodyear duratrac at tires,I had a set of the KL71 tires on my 86 Chevy k20 I liked them. Bit noisy but that's fine with me.
