Looks like I'm an egregious offender.

I spent a couple years working hard to pay off my credit cards and lower my debt, and when I got the truck, I loved it so much I immediately knew I would be keeping it. Which meant I wanted to customize it and make it mine.

It had been since 1995 that I was able to have custom wheels on one of my vehicles, but it really meant a lot to me, and I scrimped and saved until I almost had enough to convince my wife...

I originally planned to get flares, but then I had second thoughts. I might still... Maybe.

I'm comfortable with how it looks. I'm not trying to be anybody or "project an image," I just like the Hot Wheels look. Anything anybody else might say or think about me, a 50-sumpn man driving a 20-sumpn's truck, doesn't bother me at all. I am delighted with the truck I have, how it looks, and I sincerely hope everybody else loves their truck like I love mine.

I begrudge you nothing, truck friends.

I love your attitude about your truck.

That truck looks really sweet. I am curious how much extra coverage the flares provide and how the outside of them compares to your tires. Are your tires flush? If not, how much are they inside or stick out?
Sorry to lag. Sometimes I forget to check posts. My notifications suck worse then my memory. Lol

Funny thing since I posted that I've been wondering the same thing. Every time I walk by I catch myself doing the gun-sight eye trying to see if they're flush. Back might be, front might not be. I'll go put a straight edge on the tire and post results.

A very dirty road salt 2500 with stock rims and 35x12.5 18. Even with oem flares and added gatorback flares. I hate below freezing temps. Week and a half in below 32 and about 2 more weeks to go. Crying.

Interesting seeing the obvious differences between a sunshine state truck and a snow state. Snow state trucks go 3 months without a wash due to freezing temps, etc. Love the look of your truck! No wash in site for my truck from Dec to Mar at least..

Your info on the left says you are in Arkansas. So am I, in the northern part of the state. I'm able to wash my truck in my driveway pretty much all year. Yeah, we get a little winter weather, but not like a true snow state. I lived in MN for 35 years, so I know what a snow state is.

Saw a newer Ram today with the wide wheels thing going on. Even had some small flairs. But the side of his light colored truck was just slimed with dirt and mud. I imagine he has a heck of a time keeping it clean and scratch free.

Ok, pic heavy post here. The photo angles are as true a representation as I Could get. No Camera angle manipulation. the backend Is right about ,5" out & the front is about 1,5" out. The fender flare is about a 1,75" depth away from fender.

The pictures look like the Copper tubing is leaning but the level shows Its straight up down. easiest to see the bubble level In the plc of front wheel but the bubble was centered in any Plc w the tubing.

Thats all with Fuel 18×9 wheels @ -12mm offset and 12.5" Tires. The KM3 tires have an aggressive side lug, I did not measure the poke from the furthest outset lug, instead I measured from the mud ring that was on the sidewall indicating how far the tire sank into the mud, I think It was definitely fair point to measure from with any mud throwing lug encompassed within the measurement. Furthest point of poke would probably add half inch to the Measurements Ilisted above.
