Lifted trucks should have a wider stance, hence why we use fender flares! Keep'em even with the flares. I'm rollin on 37x13.50x20 with a 20x12 rim.

cheers.

My last three trucks I had the tires sticking out a bit. I like the aggressive stance, but in my old age and (a tiny bit of) wisdom, I've changed my ways because I got tired of washing the truck all up nice and purdy and then jumping in the truck and immediately slinging crap all over the side. My current truck has 20x9 0 offset and my 35's are a hair inside of even.

My last truck (ol mud slinger).

View media item 30419Mine stick out about an inch past my flares. It does dirty up the truck a bit but I was able to correct a lot of it with some custom mudflaps on the front tires. I personally like a little bit of stance on these trucks. (I would like to make known I hate the Bro-Dozers with half their tires sticking out, I'm waiting for the day one of them smokes a curb with their tire and rips the whole control arm off. lol)

I have a 2015 1500 Big Horn with no flares. According to tiresize.com the stock tires are 10.8" wide. I am about to put on a lift and 35x12.5 tires. The 17x9 wheels will have a -12 offset which will stick them out a half inch. Can anyone with the same setup post pictures? If my math is right, the new tires will stick out 1.35". The BW pocket flares are 2.6" front and 2" rear. I don't know if those flares would stick out too much and look bad. Ram1500rsm posted a pic earlier in this thread with a level but I can't tell the depth from the fender

That wheel/tire setup should stick out 1.5” past the fenders.

Even or a tad under. I hope I did my math correct. If so the rears should be even and the fronts tucked under.
Rears:
Wheels; Ballistic Tomahawk 20" x 12" -50. Tires; Nitto Ridge Grappler 37" x 13.5" x 20".
Fronts:
Wheels; Ballistic Tomahawk 20' x 9" -12. Tires; Nitto Ridge Grappler 37" x 11.5" x 20".

LOL. my wife said I could have 37's if I could make them work with no lift. Had to move the cab back 1.25" for inner fender clearance but there under there. I did sneak in a 1.5" body lift.

What truck, rim width, offset, and tire size is that? It looks amazing! Unfortunately for me, with a lift that high my wife and daughter would need a ladder.

TRUCK: 2018 Ram 2500HD Laramie

LIFT: BDS 8”, 4 Link, Diesel, Dual front fox shocks and single rear fox shock, Dual Fox steering stabilizer

TIRES: Nitto Ridge Grappler 38x13.5R20. Load Range E

WHEELS: Fuel Vapor D569 20x10 -18mm offset = 4.7” Backspace.

GEARS: 4.56 gears with Detriot TruTrac

Bushwhacker max coverage fender flares

My wife has no issues getting in with the Amp Research PowerStep XL Running Boards

These are Lund flares, fuel wheels are 18x9 -12, km3 rubber at 37x12.50. Not exactly your same numbers but the widths are. I can get flare width if ya want.

Front Flares are not on the truck in one pic, the different sheen is the paint protection vinyl installed to avoid damage from flare rub. (Highly recommended) but it's an example to compare with and without flare, other then the wheels being turned and the camera angle, meh.b54f358f325fd9ce693770779e103b37.jpg1c51143e201e2ecf2de37497076d37a1.jpg

That truck looks really sweet. I am curious how much extra coverage the flares provide and how the outside of them compares to your tires. Are your tires flush? If not, how much are they inside or stick out?
