Tires?

I'm also looking for my next tire. I venture into the falken wildpeak, Cooper st maxx, and Mickey Baja atzp3, but I keep defaulting back to nitto ridge grapplers. Pretty sure that will be my next tire

I wouldn't recommend those on a 2500/3500. Excellent tire but not for a HD truck. They will wear fast and ride squishy on a heavy truck. Lots of bad reviews out there from people who have run them on a HD truck.

Totally agree ^^^ Ive been using E 10 ply on all my trucks in the last 10 years, even on 1/2 tons. You can air them down to have a softer ride if needed.I have had very few flat tires also on E tires. The last set of cooper's at3's on my SC f150 4x4, had 50 K and another 10k or more left, when I traded it. I don't think I'll get that much on this 2500, I have now. The factory Firestone transforce AT's E rated were down to 4/32nd's at 20K miles, crappy traction too. Worst tire I had in years.

I have a friend currently using DURA-TRAC tires for his 2500 lifted Cummings, and he's never been more satisfied.

For those who like the Goodyear Dura Trac`s, (many do in the snow belt) but don`t like the 2 ply sidewall and the high price, try looking at the Kanati Trail Hog`s, almost an exact copy of the Dura Trac but has 3 ply sidewalls and pricing is a third less or more than the Goodyears!
I`ve had mine for a couple of years now and they handle the snow excellent (various depths/hard pac & powder,) pretty good on ice and have great bite on our forest roads which are a mix of hard packed dirt with sand or broken granite and rocks....
For my use they are near perfect and the price makes them a great value!

Reads well on paper, but I am skeptical about tires mfg in Indonesia.

I just bought a set of used Hercules ironman 35/12.8r18 for a test run on my truck
They are very aggressive but most of my driving is pavement also
I have pulled my trailer with them and they did great I think
The guy I bought then from says he put about 10k miles on them with his Cummins truck
And so far I have put about 2500
And they still have a lot of tread
He said they were on his truck when he bought it did not sure on exact mileage
For less than $200 per tire for a 35"
When they need replaced I will try a new set and see how they go
What mud I have seen with them they are great
they feel stuck to the road in rainy driving
Overall I am pretty happy with them
They do make some noise on pavement but I am used to it now lol
