I put LT285/65R20 BFG-K02's on my truck and have zero issues.
And this was before I put in B8 5100 Bilstein's on all four corners; raising the front to the 2.1" setting.

Just a little.
They're not tucked in the wheel wells, looking silly...lol.
To me, it's well proportioned. not too wide a tire, but just enough to poke out the wheel wells and give it a nice stance.
I'm not one for super wide tires (on a truck), and I don't prefer to use spacers.

The difference between 60 and 65 is 5mm, when staying with the same 275 width and 20" rims. There are 25.4 mm in an inch, so less the .2 of an inch or about 6/32. There is more wear than that from new tire to worn out. You need a different tire shop my friend.

Yes. The main difference is they are 1” taller. The extra width is negligible, like 1/2cm. They also run about $75 extra per tire! Most 275/65/20 only come in D or E rating. At least the ones I looked at before buying stock 275/60/20 last friday. Hard enough to stomach the cost of them let alone the 65 ratio tire! Yeesh.

I very recently had LT295/65R20 Michelin Defender LTX M/S put on and they are great, and zero rubbing. Although I do miss the more aggressive look of the BFG's, but seeing how I do more highway than off road, it's an easy switch.

Much nicer ride than the LT285/65R20 BFG KO2's I took off, and even though the Michelin's are bigger, they are still about 5lb a tire lighter than the BFG's, and took a crap ton less weight to balance them out on a road force balance, too.

Overall, much happier with the Michelin's, especially in the rain. And these ones are also a tad higher than the BFG's which is nice when finding my own parking spots ;)
