You need to make sure which color is more suitable for your truck. In my opinion, black is cooler.

Do one or the other. I like both. Ordered an Explorer Sport in 2013 and ordered it with the black trim since the truck was going to be tuxedo black. When it came in my wife saw the chrome door handles and was ready to tell them to keep the truck. When you have a virtually blacked out vehicle except for a couple items that are chrome, the chrome stands out like a sore thumb. My old 2000 pickup has the chrome and it still cleans up nice and looks good. That is the other thing I have found is that it seems the chrome is easier to take care of over the years. The blacked out stuff seems to always fade or need extra work to keep it looking nice.

Chrome bumpers look great on that (OP's) truck, I'd leave it. And I'm not a chrome fan BTW. Hate chrome on white trucks.

Looks great. I just would have kept the chrome tips IMO. But love the grill.

Wanting to do the grille is where this started... then I figured if I’m doing the front emblem I should do the back. Then I figured all that’s left sniff is the tips, the rest is history!
My last truck was a POS Ford. It was very white and shiny and “pretty” and “cute”.
I want this truck to be the opposite of that truck. Objective complete!13907D6E-EE28-4AB3-B781-E938B48FD7EC.jpeg A20453BF-3D51-4027-A234-488D08834A67.jpeg

Everyone has been doing the black-out thing for a while now. Personally, I bought a Sport and added chrome to it.

Blackness wins for me. While I will be leaving a few chrome parts on my truck, the rear bumper now has to go in lieu of the black version. Mirrors, door handles, grille 'bolts' and a few other small items will remain, but all badges will get replaced over time.
