Took my 6.4 from northern Indiana to south eastern Ohio this weekend. Mix of two lane and interstate driving. I did the math and hand calculations were within .2 of the evic! I was very happy with it

I also hand calculated mine to find the
Same .2 MPG difference.

This was on our trip to the beach this past summer. 20190701_103109.jpg
This is with 2 adults and our children 6, 12, and 18 in the cab. My toolbox full of tools, and the remainder of an 8 foot bed full of food, drinks and beach stuff.

Also, my MDS wasn't working as I have the damn Fuel Level Sensor Fail.

OH C'MON!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats impressive.

I was towing a 30' trailer and the read out said I was getting 23mpg.

The key was I was going west to east and got a steady tail wind on flat ground.

Just got back from a Canadian hunting trip a week ago. 3,800 miles round trip from Colorado. Truck averaged 14mpg for the whole trip. Was actually pretty pleased with that considering all the stuff in the bed. Best stretches I saw were 17mpg, the worst was coming home in Wyoming into a solid head wind...9mpg for 250 miles.

I don't think I can drive 61 mph for 6 hours even it would get me another 2-3 mpg. I am usually doing 75-80 mph.

I was doing 75 to 80 on the high way. There were many back roads and stoplights on the stretch we took. Had I actually drove just 61 mph...I may have hit 20.

Some of the roads were only 55 mph speed limits. Which is right were this 392 Hemi likes to drive.

We hate just cruising down the highway. We like to see America when we drive.

We aren't about the destinations but the journeys to get there.
