Then and now: 140+ In my buddy's 68 or 69 GTO 400ci manual trans, in 1974 or so. On a flat country road no traffic or crossroads, no seatbelts, windows down, tires were thin, the telephone poles went by like a picket fence. Scary now just thinking about that. Now, 105 mph in the 6.4 while passing three semi trucks, in a 75 mph zone, open desert. Hell there are places in Texas where it is 85 Mph. Plenty fast for me. There were folks that passed me all day doing a hundred.

115 with the limiter disabled. The extra 5mph might of happened but traffic came up fast. Magnaflow exhaust S&B cold air intake

In MY 2019, bout 107, ECM set at 112, on my Honda Trike it tops out at 124.... Hee Hee.

ADDED: Just for giggles, fastest I have ever gone is 176 mph in a 1968 Dodge Coronet RT, with 440 magnum, 3/4 Cam, 750 Holley pumper. I was the pax,., wahoo.

I don't think so,even with 3.23 gears/assuming a pretty standard 28" tall rear tire, and a 1-1 high gear in the 727 ,that equals 6821 rpm, wasn't a 440 built with the mods you listed that'd pull over 6800rpm in high gear, especially in a brick ********* Coronet. My uncle had a 71 426 Hemi Charger with 3.23 gears and it was good for just over 150mph "downhill with a tailwind",lol.Curious on how you figured you seen 176 when Dodges speedometers were only good to 150mph in their fast cars.I grew up in the Muscle car era,a good muscle car would start running out of rpm and horsepower above 125mph,memories always add a whole lot to the story, lol

Remember what you say on here your insurance company can read and use against you if they have to pay out on something big so I would be careful about posting how fast you drive its in writing now Just saying

I don't know if I've hit triple digits in my '04 yet or not. Need to pay attention next time. I have a rule against owning anything that won't hit triple digits.

The party--poopers should keep in mind that there's nothing magical about 100 that makes it super dangerous. Cause a wreck at 70 and someone is still going to die. I'll take an alert driver at 100 over the average driver at 60 any day.

My 18 2500 4x4 has registered 115 then got in some traffic and shut it down. I also noticed the gas gauge was dropping fast too.
One needle went to the right the other to the left. Lol

"While playing Forza", my '19 classic 5.7 8spd pulls hard all the way to 106 and then stops. I'm about to remove the speed regulator off the truck "in the game" and we'll see where it really lands.

105 twice and 110 passing a Mustang 5.0 on I-95 South in my 01 24 valve. I still had pedal. Mustang popped the motor when he came by me the third time I blew the horn and waved. I was headed to the Daytona Turkey Run. I haven't checked top speed in the new truck yet. It's not a big issue really.

The germans are laughing at us.

When I was stationed there, I had a Mazda truck that I though was flying at 100 mph then I got passed by a VW bug. I have family there and rode with a cousin that had a Passast and we were humming on A6(autobahn) at 255kmh (158 mph). It was amazing that in the 18 months I was there, there was less than 5 major accidents and 4 were caused my US drivers.

105 limited in the Ram,

153 in the '14 Mustang GT with a tuner that disabled the limiter. Shhh it's the wife's car and I haven't told her and put the limiter back on haha.

We have a stretch of highway here that no one travels hardly anymore. We take a pack out there and post at the stop and start of a 10 mile section that does not have any side road accesses. Verify the road is clear and do our runs. When someone wants to do a run, we contact the other side to make sure it is clear.

There's a deserted place between Buckeye and Wickenburg AZ 8 or so years back, that I happened upon at about 2am. There must have been 20 cars, doing street drags, some driven there and some in trailers, guys with walkie talkies, lights, and cones. The next time I passed there in daylight, I noticed a burnout spot, and painted lines 1/4 mile apart.

I so miss Germany, been there for 6 years in the army. I had a Mercedes wagon for a rental my first time there in 2004 that I had up to 280kph driving from Darmstadt to Frankfurt where the A5 was 4 lanes in each direction. I also miss that they know to move left, pass and move back right once they complete the pass, no matter how fast they are driving.
