I'm not a big speed guy, my 1500 has the regular old V6 but I have to say that I have caught myself at 95-100 when passing on the highway a few times and was surprised at the acceleration and how 'slow' if felt compared to the actual speed.

My 1991 Cummins CTD would just barely hit 100 (mph) before it de-fueled after I tweaked it. Stock it could barely make 90.
Never took my 05 above 90.
Haven't had the 17 on the freeway yet.

My 13 regular cab V6 with the towing package would top 120. I doubt that the replacement 17 basic Quad cab will do more than the popular 105.

I don't think so,even with 3.23 gears/assuming a pretty standard 28" tall rear tire, and a 1-1 high gear in the 727 ,that equals 6821 rpm, wasn't a 440 built with the mods you listed that'd pull over 6800rpm in high gear, especially in a brick ********* Coronet. My uncle had a 71 426 Hemi Charger with 3.23 gears and it was good for just over 150mph "downhill with a tailwind",lol.Curious on how you figured you seen 176 when Dodges speedometers were only good to 150mph in their fast cars.I grew up in the Muscle car era,a good muscle car would start running out of rpm and horsepower above 125mph,memories always add a whole lot to the story, lol
LOL...Thats how I figured it out too. Math don't lie.

THE OLDER I GETS,
THE BETTER I WAS.

My 18 2500 4x4 has registered 115 then got in some traffic and shut it down. I also noticed the gas gauge was dropping fast too.
One needle went to the right the other to the left. Lol

How'd you defeat the 104 mph governor?

A "guy" drove my '17 2500 6.4 and said it pulls strong right to 104 and just falls flat on it's face due to the gov. Had plenty in reserve, just wasn't allowed.

I've not tested top speed but have hit 90+ several times when passing.

My Ecodiesel AlfaOBD ECU log says:
Maximum Vehicle Speed: 255 km/h 158.4 mph

That probably is a mathematical "maximum". Engine at redline rpm's, tallest gear in trans and rear ratio. What it does NOT figure in is drivetrain friction losses, wind resistance, rolling resistance, etc.
