Okay so I'm doing a camshaft swap from stock to a stage 2 cam by Texas Speed. I found a shop to do the swap for me, they told me its goin to be upto a 3 week wait to get my truck in, which im fine with. Im also planning on swapping out my converter w/ a 3400 stall one.
My question is, will it be ok to do the torque converter first then do the cam swap? Or shld I wait to do the cam 1st ??
I won't be doin the tune until all the work is done. So I'll probably be driving (as little as possible) for about a week or so with the higher stall converter and no tune before i get the cam swapped out. Should everything be ok OR BAD IDEA ?? Any and all advice is welcomed.
