Against my better judgement I went for it cut the hole put some silicone and reinstalled itbut it doesn't fit so now I have a hole. I think you may have posted your thread in the wrong generation. You have a 14' truck right? It would be a 4th gen! [emoji16] one of the mods should be able to move it for you.

This post looks familiar or I'm having dejavu??? Take some pics. I put LED in my aftermarket lights and my end cap did not fit. Had to do some retrofitting. This stuff might help you out.

Yeah. Retrofitsource.com has entire kits and individual parts for the project. They are a highly recommended company on the forum. I'm going to buy their kit once I gather the loot for it. Not necessarily cheap but they make hid kits specifically with ram in mind along with any resistor/capacitors (excuse my non informed electrical lingo) that work without flicker and such.

What you can do is go buy a tube of plastic weld. Cut out a piece of cardboard the EXACT size of the hole in your projectors dust cap. Then push the cardboard into the hole so its sorta snug in there. If there are some open spots, it's ok. Just make sure the cardboard won't fall out. The use the plasticweld and cover the cardboard you put into the hole and spread the plasticweld to make a seal from one side of the hole, over the cardboard and to the other side of the hole, making sure to put the plastic weld about a 1/4 inch past the hole to make a strong bond to the dust cap.

Let it dry. You can then either cut out the cardboard piece or just leave it. Either way this will 100% reseal the hole.

You can get plastic weld at pepboys or autozone for under $10.
