So i have a 2011 RC SB 1500 SLT Outdoorsman Hemi. When i put it into Tow/Haul mode it makes me have to shift. it does not stay in Automatic, and my RPM stay alot higher in 5th gear then if i had it turned off. My coworker has a 2012 Outdoorsman and when he turns his Tow/Haul on it down not do that. it stays in automatic, and or he could put it into manual mode. Anyone have any insite...?

I've got an 11 Ram Outdoorsman, when I go into tow/haul all it does is prevent the truck from going into overdrive. You shouldn't have to shift on your own.

This is what it shows. It always shows 5 and it is in the (manually setting) the +/- setting. Is that what it shows on yours?

That's what makes me think that I have to shift it

That's what it shows on mine, if you leave it in 5 though it will still shift for you
Believe it only does that in case you are towing and you want to manually control power (ie leave it in first to stay at higher RPms when towing at low speeds)
