tow hooks on express

I have a 2012 ram express 4x4 and i want to put tow hooks on it. From what ive read on the forum some say you need hooks for a 2500, i also want to order the precut plastic insert but everything ive found only shows the insert available for big horn bumpers. Does anyone know the right part numbers for the express? Also looking at getting skid plates so if you know some part numbers for that too that would be awesome. Thanks

That link is for the tow hooks. Call your dealer for the insert. They are supposed to be pretty cheap there. My local one wanted Almost $70. I just got the part # and ordered it on ebay for $15 LOL.

You'll want the sport bumper insert not the chrome bumper one.

I've also heard the the tow hook insert doesnt exist for the express bumper. Have always thought you need to cut holes in the stock insert to allow for the hooks.

Can you provide pics or part number for the sport insert?

Here's a crappy pic of mine...they only go on when I'm dynoing to have a good way to strap the truck down...they come off any other time. It only takes about 10 minutes to swap them on or off.

The hooks just bolt into the stock spots...the kits come with the bolts you need. For the insert I just measured what needed to be cut...and cut it out. It's a super easy mod for you guys wanting to do it....shouldn't take more than a couple hours start to finish.

Timely thread as I didn't even realize my 2013 Laramie with chrome package and everything else didn't come with tow hooks?!?! So I just order the hooks and cut out the inserts? Mine has the chrome bumper if that matters? What did u use to cut it out, or does it just pop out?

You have to add the protection package it also adds skid plates on front axle and the transfer case. I have never used mine but I like having them in case.
