Tow mirrors with lights

Hi guys
i just bought s set with lights. I have a 2012 ram 1500 outdoorsmen. The door module has 4 plugins
For accessories i unpluged the stock mirrors from number 3 and reconnected one of the harnesses for power and heat. I also noticed the second harness fits into slot 4. I can ses the puddle lights when i unlock the doors but its super dim.
oh my stock mirror where only heated. Does the dealer have to add codes to work or do i have to wire them up?

Any advice would be great thxs.

The 2013 to 15 trucks need the sales code added to work it is LEB and LEC for blinker and puddle lights. Not sure on the 2012. Also Make sure you have the correct mirrors they changed in 2013.

Yeah, if you didn't have those light on the old mirrors, you will need the option code added.

I have the same issue and the codes were added. Very dim, and only one of the two LED bulbs is working on each side
