Iv searched the forum with my search engine. Found a lot of helpful information. But nothing right on the spot. So with the info I found. Its answered some of my questions. I've currently got 35x12.5x20s on my truck. With 3.55 gearing. Would dropping down to a 33x12.5x20, help alot with towing? Or no? I'm not gonna spend the money to regear. I would rather spend the money on new tires when needed. But im on the fence about staying with a 35 or drop to 33. Am I going to see a difference in towing? I don't care about fuel mileage. When I mean a difference, I mean. Will I be able to tow a 6000-7000 LBS trailer easier, better, then having 35s? Is the difference gonna be something I notice? I'm in the process of buying/looking for a trailer. I'm gonna have this truck for years to come. But have a young family. I know regearing would make the most sense. But not in my situation. Any info, or your experience towing with 35s then dropping to 33s, With the same truck set up would be very appreciated.

So if your stock tires were 265/70R16's then your 3.55:1 is effectively now 3.1:1. If you drop to 33's then you'll be effectively at 3.29:1. I know this doesn't give you any real world information, but it looks like 33's will be close to splitting the difference between where you are at now and where you were pre 35's.

Agree, 33's will put you in the middle.

35's look awesome on these trucks but without a regear to something like 4.56, really compromises the towing experience.

Trust me, I know.
I put 35's on my 04 Ram 5.7 Hemi with 3.73's and turned it into a slug.

You can leave the 35's on and spend 5k on gears if 4X4 or try the 33's which in most cases is 2" shorter than 35's.

I tow quite often and found my fix......6.4 Hemi. Lol

You only drop one inch when going from 35s to 33s.

You are going up/down 2 inches in diameter but only raise/lower the truck 1 inch (radius).

33s might actually be smaller than your factory size...atleast in the HeavyDuty truck.

I see you have a 3rd Gen. You may notice a decent differnce...if you had the newer 8spd trans...i dont think you would really tell.

I think going narrower on the tire would do more to help.

Unfortunately, I do not have the real world experience you request
