CD351D36-F8EF-44B1-88B0-EAE55EDB7734.png 2019 Bighorn 2x4 sits stock @ 36.5 front and 40 rear and would like to drop the rear 2” with new MaxTrac coils for a level ride / look, rather than add a 2” lift in front. Also planning on 32ft travel trailer w/ 800lb tongue weight using a stediflex Reese 1400lb weight distribution hitch and also maybe adding some rear air bags for support like 1000HD or 5000 air lift if recommend. I also plan on keeping tires @ stock size unless I’ll advised. What do you all think??? Thanks.

I dont see any problems with that, especially adding some adjustable helper bags like you were thinking, though I have no clue what the 5th gen suspension is like [emoji2373]. Same as the previous?
Nice truck btw [emoji1689]

Adding rear bags would be a good idea, probably not necessary but I'm sure they will come in handy multiple times throughout ownership

I have a 4x4 Crew Cab and my TT drops the rear 3” with 800lbs on the bumper.

You’ll definitely need bags. I’ll be interested in how the 2” drop works for you.

FYI I’m strongly considering E-rated tires as the Duellers really wobble back and forth when pulling.

Using a Husky Centerline TS WDH 800-1200 bars.

Thanks Grimson, are you towing with a weight distribution hitch because that will effectively transfer some of the tongue weight forward and by default cause less rear sag as a secondary benefit. I will be using such a hitch with rear helper air bags.

Yes sir, mind you it is a new setup and did trust my RV dealer to set the bars...

My front measurement is 36” when hitched. I plan to hit some scales to see exactly what’s transferring and will report back. I do believe airbags will really help but not sure if you “pre-drop” the rear 2”. Try reaching out to Timber Grove...I hear they are the Ram airbag experts. I’ll be going with them as well[emoji6]
