The TPMS functions are processed by the RF HUB (as shown by 18crewdually). That is why I asked you previously (but unanswered) if your key FOB buttons are working as expected.When I connected to Alfa OBD it says I don’t have a TPMS module connected so I’m assuming my module is shot. It seems strange that I would still show numbers for tire pressure even though they never change.

I installed new wheels. I took my truck back to where the wheels were installed and they said everything looked fine. I recently had an alignment done and I had that company replace the TPMS sensors. And I’m still having the same problem.Tell us what you have done to your truck since you have owned it.
It could be as simple as wheel replacement or window tint.
Maybe obvious isn’t the issue.
No codes have been thrown and no lights on the dash.The only way I know is by using a tool designed to interact with a tire pressure sensor. The tools are readily available but will cost you a couple hundred for one of reasonable quality.
The TPMS has been working correctly until about a month ago.
Did the TPMS lamp flash or illuminate and stay on? This would indicate an issue with the system.
The new sensors, are they compatible with a 2016 RAM?
Are all your keyfob buttons working correctly?
It is highly unusual for all four tire sensors to quit working at the same time. Their lifetime is typically greater than 10 years. Something has changed.
It looks like the RF Hub may have failed but it should be able to say so through DTCs at the minimum. I would think the TPMS system would be squawking about not hearing any of the tire sensors. Have you scanned your vehicle for any DTCs? I read the TPMS section in the owner's manual but there isn't much information on system failure, nothing more than the TPMS light flashing at ignition on and then the TPMS lamp staying illuminated.
I did place soundproofing on the back wall of the truck around the module. There is no sound proofing on the module itself.

The more I think about I bet you’re right. Not sure of the timeline of when I put in the sound proofing to when I started having trouble but it’s gotta be close. Some of the wires are covered as well. I’ll post an update once I’ve removed it. Thanks!^ That very well could be your problem. It could be blocking the signal to the RF hub, or at least deteriorating the signal to the point it is having a hard time reading it.
Did the issue start around the time you installed the sound proofing? It determines which sensor is in which wheel by rotational direction and signal strength to the RF hub. If you disrupt that you could be throwing the system off.
I would almost bet $ your sound proofing is your issue.....

IS your sound proofing "metallic" type lined, kinda look like aluminum foil over some type of material? IF so, might be a gotcha there, as aluminum foil can be used to block signals, heck it is even a quik remedy to cover key fobs and cell phones, just saying.The more I think about I bet you’re right. Yep, total metal top layer. If I was to pull out the module, away from the sound proofing but leave the wires connected, would it make sense that it should work then? I do not know. Not done ne stuff like U have. Aluminum foil well know radio wave interrupter. I would only trust the opinion of the tire and wheel shop when they can verify which sensors they installed 433MHZ …I installed new wheels. My sound proofing definitely has metal in it. As far as the frequency the guys set I don’t know.I would only trust the opinion of the tire and wheel shop when they can verify which sensors they installed 433MHZ …
(if pressed for time a fledgling tech could mistaken Dakota as being similar 315MHZ)
The rims themselves can have issues with TPMS although not as likely, if your sound proofing material was installed prior to the sensor readings being frozen , you are going to need to verify that your work is not the issue.
Some sound deadening panels contain rubberized material under a sheet of foil …it could be the reflective qualities of the foil or rubberized materials are sometimes pigmented with a substance known as carbon black carbon black has certain electrical conductivity properties , tires rubber is pigmented with CB but the particulate size and possibly in combination with the foil backing of the sound proofing material could be a reasonable suspect.
How were your wheels balanced how much weight was used or did the wheel installers use “beads”?
What are your new tires pressure ratings ?
If the cold tire pressure is set to the standard door frame tag factory ratings there could be an issue with the internal pressure and or possibly condensation contamination from under inflated condition causing to overheat the air inside the tire.
Wheels can interfere with TPMS but since yours do not seem to be transmitting changes maybe it’s just an interference by another electronic device that is installed inside your vehicle or you carry with you.
I had an older iPhone that would transmit a static signal to my GMRS radio and could not have it powered on when conducting transmissions because It acted as if I had my mic button depressed or another person was engaged and using the frequency.
Now I could totally wrong but i think the TPMS system is part of the RF Hub and on a 2016 it’s on the back wall behind the seats. Can someone smarter than me confirm that?Found this on You Tube,, Not sure it is what your issue is ! Hope it helps
