The left-rear sensor has not been picking up for several months, but I’ve had two different tire shops tell me that it’s sending a signal. You would think they’d be wanting to sell me an new sensor if it wasn’t working....

So what is the next step ? Is this a dealer issue now ?

Not necessarily a dealer issue, but a shop that has the ability to troubleshoot further. I think their are receivers towards each corner of the vehicle, or maybe one front and one rear? I forget.. I do know 2015+ use a different sensor in the wheels than the 2014 and older.

TPMS sensor batteries can be depleted or the sensors can go bad. I just got 2 of them replaced last week at my local Americas Tires. $150 installed after tax.
