I want to put traction or ladder bars on my ram 1500 just because of the looks of them. I think they add a nice touch to a trucks look but when i look up traction or ladder bars for a ram 1500 they do not exist but some for many other trucks come up. Is it possible for me to make my own to put on just for the look that I am wanting?

I have bars made by a member on another forum. They worked great in stopping my wheel hop. He has his own brackets he uses but I’m going to weld brackets to the axle tube to clean up the look of it d479d243a45d1db9b76576783127137a.jpg

These are the type of brackets I will weld to the axle tube a268daefe80ba423aa54ffb20c9d64ba.jpg

Thank you so much that really helps because I’ve really wanted to get some but didn’t know if I could. Where could I find the brackets or a kit to do everything. Or will I have to make them?

No problem, these are a bit more involved than simple slapper bars, if you aren't comfortable disconnecting your leaf springs from the truck then you might not wanna tackle these or have someone put them in. Once installed they have to be adjusted.
