trailer brake controller

Hi All!

I just purchased a 2025 1500 after trading in my 2022 1500. I removed the after marked trailer brake control and harness and tried to install it on the 25. I FINALLY found the connector in the driver side kick panel and it is the opposite gender of the 2022!! In other words it is the same gender as the apart plug! I have looked online, call trailer places and all of the harnesses have to wrong plug! Has anyone here installed an after market control on their 2025??

They totally changed the electrical architecture of the 2025 Rams and beyond called Atlantic. All of the even OEM TBMs 2024 and less do not work. There is a specific new OEM TBM for the 2025s. U best bet find an OEM TBM for 2025 year

It figures, I pinned out the harness and manually connected the wires... They all seem to be working. I will find out this weekend when I pick up the trailer...

I could not find any after market brake controller to fit a 2022 2500 power wagon. I opted for a Autobrake controller from E-Trailer. this unit does not connect the truck brake system. It has to be hard wired to the trailer for electrical power to activate the brakes. Very smooth operation. Dave
