2025 1500 Laramie.
I just added LED running board lights under my doors and connected them into the back side of the trailer plug. Have running lights and blinkers connected. New lights are working fine and the socket on the bumper still has current on proper pins. All lights on the truck are functioning properly as well.
I’m now getting a warning light on the dash that says a trailer light is out.
Is the computer expecting brake and or backup light connections because it senses a connection for running and blinkers?
Any recommendations?
