Welcome to opposite world lol
I am headed to Moab on Sunday so we will see lol. I am hoping my hitch skid helps protect them..I agree with him about the rear sensors. They do look like an after thought. I do not know if it is possible to rip them off on a departure angle or not. I have not even dragged my hitch on anything yet. Typical new PW owner, will not bring it through any thing tight for the first year. We are all scared to scratch our 60,000 rigs right out the gate. Unless you are @IRSmart and you can get insurance to cover you on your adventures off road.
Funny you say that @IRSmart and I wheeled with a guy named peter from PW registry with his pretty darn new 2019 and on the first obstacle he ripped his bed step off we weren't even 5 min into the trip. At about 10 min into the trip he bent his rear bumper and damn near pulled it off along with almost tearing up his bedside. Thankfully @IRSmart was able to pull him laterally away from the rock with his winch, snatchblock and a tree that in normal circumstances wouldn't be winched off of [emoji1787]I agree with him about the rear sensors. He is definitely the exception not the rule. Apparently his “spotters” were mere spectators and did not coach him out of trouble.
