As soon as it's done I'll post pics and videos. Have my girlfriends dad and brother helping.

Does anybody know the color of the power wire running off the cigarette lighter?

Or what's the easiest ignition wire to tap that can handle a 16 amp load.

One more thing. Which wire is the power supply when to the horn when it's depressed?

use a momentary switch and run them off it, use your reg horn for your reg truck horn incase you ever get pulled over with suspicion of train horns, all you gotta do is beep your reg horn....

I have a compressor switch to control that, and a switch to switch from stock to stock+ train. I just can't find out which wire is the power to stock horn when the steering wheel is depressed.

Yeah. Mine will be for fun, or the people who do something extremely stupid on the road. Only slightly stupid gets the normal horn still. No need to make everyone wet their pants.

I installed mine last week & they work great. My compressor is in my toolbox & I removed my spare tire & all the hardware underneath the bed ( winch, cross members for the winch) the horns fit real nice under there!!!! I just direct wired to the batt. To a push button for the horn & a toggle switch on the side of my toolbox to be able to turn off the compressor when not in use. Anyway it was an easy install, now just waiting for the first dumba$$ driver to give it to. Nice rides on here fellows keep up the good work!!!!

That sounds good bud. What kit is that exactly? Saw the pic of it above but was wondering if you had a link or kit name you would share.

It's slightly expensive. But I think it's worth it. It's the shocker classic 228vk or something like that. The first shocker on hornblasters.com.

Thanks man!
