Hello, first time truck owner here I just bought a truck about a week ago, first tank of gas I put 89oct as the manual states, everything was running fine and dandy no issues.
Come last night I bought a super chip tuner for 80 bucks and put the gas saver tune, didnt notice any issues other then my mpg indicator in the truck was getting better fuel the longer I drove, I then loaded the truck with the tow tune option didnt play with anything else on the tuner, as driving home I give the truck gas to get to 100kmh and then the whole truck ****** then it powered up, I saw the rpm blip down then shoot up a d the truck accelerated.
Got home fearing the tow tune had something to do with it I reverted the truck back to stock, test drove it and it stull did the same, I got no codes or anything.
Truck 5.7 hemi 2004, runs smooth engine idle smooth
