Trans for a 3.7L

Hi. Will a 545RFE transmission model P521194552AB RFE work in a 2008 Ram 3.7L? I had one for my Hemi but never needed it and sold it to a guy this morning who is now saying "...it don't match up". I want to be sure it was right for his truck. Thanks in advance!

update: He said its the same type of trans he had in the truck but the plugs don't match.

The 3.7 came with the RFE in 2002-2004 or 2005, but then they switched to the 42RLE. Im not sure exactly which year they switched but I just know that 2006+ 3.7s have the RLE

I appreciate your input Fishstickz and now I want some fishsticks.

I ended up refunding the guy. When I met up with him, he said the trans would have been fine except that the harness connector for the solenoid pack was on the opposite side of the trans from where it is on the one I sold him.

That's because it's not the same trans, like at all. The truck is supposed to have this:
