Just had my 01 2500 4x4 Cummins 47RE transmission rebuilt about 3 weeks ago. No issues until rain hit this week. For the last three days driving in the rain, the OD would switch off on its own and the TRANS TEMP light would come on inadvertently. No rain today, and it didn't do it on my drive home from work?

Moisture related? A sealing issue perhaps? Anyone else experience a similar situation? Thanks.

Definitely sounds like a moisture issue. Clean all the connectors on the outside of the case with some electron cleaner, put a little bit of dielectric grease inside, and make sure they're all seated properly

Yes electron cleaner lol for cleaning electronics. That's what the air force calls it anyways lol. We use it for cleaning the plugs on the jets
