There is nothing special about the purple brand especially as it relates to diff fluid. Read the tests. IMO would almost be the last choice for a diff. Each to their own.

Is there a sticky or something I can go too, just to know what fluids to get. Planning on doing tranny (8hp70) t-case (bw44-44) and rear end (limited slip)

Trying to avoid the crazy cost of OEM, but trying not to blow up the truck either. Any help would be great. Just tell me what to get that's more cost efficient lol

did you use a friction modifier in the rear diff? What valvoline gear oil did you use? And also, what is the amsoil SS mixed with the maxlife?

Amsoil Blue cap(fuel efficient) ATF in the ZF8 for their proprietary additive package(1 million mile tested).

Needed a gallon of Maxlife and almost 3 quarts of Amsoil ATF for a pan replacement and fill using the proper truck method.
