    So I've found out this switch will work on a 2011 ram with the 44-44 t case. That said it does set off abs and TCS codes after 5-10 minutes of use. Update: he thinks it may be the huge puddle he hit, he had this happen to him Before I'll keep you updated on this for the older trucks.

    The 2009 and 2010 don’t have a 44-44 right?

    Enjoy yourself;
    I received my kit yesterday, if I get a chance I 'll install it this weekend or more likely next week.

    So I got my switch this past weekend as well. With the weather pretty nice on Saturday, I set out installing it. It didnt take me real long. Really, only 30 min or so, at that was just because I was trying to be as careful as I could be in removing the factory stuff. The install video was great, along with the printed instructions included in the package. Made sense even for me, which was no easy feat.

    I mounted the switch itself in my lower glove box. I dont keep anything in there anyways, so its a nice hiding spot thats still easy enough for me to get to. I didnt test it out at all on Saturday, other than to notice the lights lighting up on the switch. After work today though, I had to take the truck out for a couple of errands, so I had the opportunity to try it quickly.

    The clutch pack certainly grabs hard! I was quite surprised really. My JK didnt even grab or bind this much on dry pavement. At full steering lock, the truck doesnt even want to move. Reverse was just as bad/good. The switch itself works great. No delay in locking or unlocking. Only tested it in 4 lock...didnt even think of trying it in 4 auto, although Id expect the same outcome. Hopefully our last snowfall came early this morning, so it'll be quite awhile before it gets tested under real conditions.

    Simply put, however.....Im extremely happy with it, and it was well worth the price IMO to have a fully locked axle. (Something Ram should've done in the beginning, but whatever)

    Thanks again Brandon!

    That was my reaction as well. All the posts and reading on the 44-44 suggests the clutches are weak and can't stay locked up under the power of a Hemi. Not true at all, those clutches are fine for this application it's FCAs programming that sucks.

    Also if you switch it on in 4Auto it locks the front wheels just like 4Lock/Low.

    Glad you're happy with it, I can't wait to try mine in the snow either! Try it on some dirt or gravel in 4Low. It'll put a smile on your face

    I finally installed mine and just got done "testing" it in 4-low. Playing around in the gravel and the field feels a lot more like the 44-45 equipped rental I was in a while back. Super pleased with the results.
