Morning folks. Brand new here. Wish I knew about this place long time ago.
Okay. 1998 Laramie, 5.2 magnum, Automatic. 195000 on the clock.
Transmission died.
Freighted one in.
Had it put in.
Now. My temp sensor is on and the overdrive doesn't work.
Did the shop miss something?

My educated guess is that the transmission you installed is from a different year model and the PCM is not playing nice with the Governor Pressure Sensor/Transducer which, in turn, is also the temp sensor. If the new trans came out of a 2000 or newer vehicle the Governor Pressure Sensor is different.
