The RFE group of transmissions has had issues with the LR solenoid and will give a P0750 code and set the trans in limp mode. Clearing the codes will cause the transmission to shift correctly until it sees another solenoid failure (this will be immediate if there is a gear ratio error). Dropping the pan and changing both filters and the solenoid pack should take care of it. There is no need to replace the entire valve body as the solenoid is the issue. I would then fill and flush as previously mentioned. Make sure the person doing the flush knows what they are doing and removes the thermal valve. Also make sure a quick learn is performed when you are finished to optimize shifts and reset CVI's.

Same issue, changed the solenoid pack, does it require the factory scan tool to recalibrate to the new solenoid pack, ? Instead of being stuck in 2nd gear limp mode I have to manually shift it from first gear past second gear to drive.
