I think the real question here may be getting overlooked. That may be my fault. I would like to know if calibrating the speedo alone, will fix the issue I'm having with it holding higher gears too long (feels like I'm in tow mode at 60+ mph). So in other words, does the speedo being off effect the shift points? Or is it load that effects it?

It's probably taking more motor to move the 35" tires so I doubt a recalibration will stop you from hanging in the gear.

The only thing correcting your speedometer will do is correct your speedometer. Only fix for what you are describing is more gear or stock height tires.
