I'm new to the forum. I'm sure the question I have has been visited and revisited. But if anybody can help me. I would greatly appreciate it. my problem is my transmission won't shift from 2nd to 3rd gear without having it reach 40 to 45 miles per hour. originally the shifting was quite erratic going from first to second and second to third no problems going into overdrive. so I went ahead changed the transmission fluid, filter and the shift solenoid. The truck now shifts okay from 1st to 2nd but 2nd to 3rd it doesn't shift until it reaches 45 miles an hour. any suggestions on where to go or what to do before I finally belly up and take it to a transmission shop? My transmission is the 46rh and it's made it to a 5.9 liter V8.
