Hey guys, I'm looking for a hard tri fold cover that's not gonna break the bank but keep my stuff dry. Needs to fit 09 1500 CC 5'7 bed

How much won't break the bank? For some it's $200 and others it's $1,000.

In between those figures. I've seen majority of hard tri folds are around $500 and up.. That's close to the max I would really wanna pay

And if anyone on here may have one for sale, that is an option

My vote goes for the Bakflip VP cover.

It def looks nice. It's a little higher than what I was wanting to spend. But if the quality is there it might just be the choice

I know it's not cheap if bought new but I just got an extang solid fold for my rambox equipped truck for $100.. Yes $100. It's not waterproof like others advertise but it's great. Only let's a small amount of water in the four corners and is sturdy as a rock. You can't beat the install either. 20 minutes til completion. Not nearly as many pieces and components like other brands. I'd recommend them for sure.

I've got an extang trifecta. Paid $374, IIRC.

While it is the first, and only, tonneau cover I've ever purchased - I'm happy with it.

BakFlip Fibermax and I love mine.

FYI: I wanted a tool box but I didn't want the BakFlip one because it's not deep enough. I bought a full sized chest tool box that fits perfectly under the BakFlip.

I love how the bakbox folds away, I just needed more space.

I picked up a used Bakflip VP from another forum and love the thing. Got a great price on the VP and bed rug. It was super easy to install and only a few water drops get in even heavy rains. Check Craigslist and be prepared to drive to get a good deal.. I drove almost 3hrs to get mine. Worth it with the money saved.

I'm looking at getting one as well. Has anyone tried the undercover flex? I'm trying to decide between that and the bak fiber max

I installed the undercover flex on my truck about 8 months ago. Its a 6 1/2 bed. installation was easy, it clamps in, the aluminum rails act as gutters. I get a little leaking at the tailgate corners on occasion. I love being able to open and close the tailgate with out having to have the cover raised.
