Unfortunately this box seems to rest on those brackets so no matter how much I raise it... That's an issue....f58511f720c9b998f7022397da0177e0.jpgb4c1f0eaa31431c1d6361c49790af384.jpg

Worried about the stress on the box cause of this... But I sure asf ain't dealing with it again until it's negative 50 Fahrenheit outside. It's rugged when it's 105 out with a bit of humidity on top.

Must be another one of the "minor", undocumented changes that Ram did to the 2015's. I've found a few little things like this between mine and my buddy's 2012.

YA, I've been here almost 18 years. Bought in back when Gilbert was too far out for everyone, and houses were still affordable. Now it's just ridiculous. Hell Val Vista was still 2 lanes, and Ray was still dirt when I moved here...

I found out today Gilbert is still considered a town.... And with that they are the largest town in the world.

Do you go to car shows at all?

Gonna make an amp rack. It's okay to cut some of that molding from behind the seat to screw a board to the back of the cab right

Yes, and you can use MDF and liquid nails to get a firm platform going. A few pics in the audio forum. I can send mine if you want. I sound deadened the truck before I did the amp wall though.

If it's not an inconvenience, please do post pictures.

Admittedly, a lot. And I did doors, floor and roof. But if you sat in my truck you would freak out on just how quiet it is, even with headers and a loud muffler.

Guessing close to a grand. Maybe more... That stuff is insanely expensive. Soon as I finish this audio equipment. I'll find something else to start on lol.

Use your Google-Fu and check out Stinger Roadkill. can pick up a box for around a $100 and couple boxes shoudl do ya. got to be wary on what type of compound you use. can;t remember the type. roadkill is same compound and DYnamat, If I recall correctly. But, again, use your google-fu.

Guy, at work, used to do this professionally, for years, before he got finally got on the RR. He told me what to use, how to do it, then helped me get it done.

FYI, you do not need complete coverage as 50cal pictures show
(NOTE: I did my truck 100% just like 50Cals pics). My guy told me it was a waste, 25% was good, 50% was more than enough, 100% was complete overkill. Purpose of that part of the sound deadening process was to prevent the trucks metal surfaces from vibrating, which would cause sounds itself. Sound deadening was to insure all sound, in the cab, comes from the speakers themselves. But, I thought it looked nice, so did it anyway.

Did you get this resolved. What box do you have, it looks very similar to mine. I had to do the seat mod and before doing so, was thinking I would have the same issue as the front of the box sits on the bracket as well. I figured the seat would never clear. However, after adding 8 spacers per bolt (3/4") lift, it did in fact work and the seat also folds down with ease.
