I'll be adding several exterior mods over the next year but gonna start with the TUNER first. Beside LED interior Lights and exterior lights I haven't done much to the 2010 Ram. But thanks to GRAYGOOSE the Diablosport Trinity should be on the way here soon. I will post some information once I get it installed next week on how it panned out.

Update on Tuner:

Got it in, install on computer was little different than video, but got it into the truck fine. Couple of things I was gonna ask you guys to see if you have noticed this.
1) I have 87 octane in the tank until it's gone and trust me after all the "tree trials" its about empty hehe. I went with the 87 performance tune. I went on a road trip with a lot of highway miles. On the way there I used "mpg boost" just to see. Averaged about 20.3 miles per gallon according to truck display. I then used 87 performance boost on the way back and averaged about 23 mpg on highway lol???? I went 55-65 depending on who I got behind. Any answer as to why I got better mileage on performance tune?

2) I have the 3.21 ratio ); which i was sad to find out. Anyway just off of a couple of trial runs on the motion start tree here are my results.

Stock tune runs: 0-60 7.85 seconds, and a best of 7.39 seconds
87 tune: 0-60 in 7.12 seconds, and a best of 6.80.

Either way I'm happy cant wait to put some high grade in my truck. We have a gas station here that sells jet fuel, or so my buddy told me. Its like 100+ octane. Yall think I'll be okay If I were to try some for some runs?

I would not run 100+ octane with a regular tune like that. Most higher octane fuels like that are leaded. Make sure whatever you use is UNLEADED. Try to stick to the 91 to 93 octane fuels.

Cool, thanks for the heads up on that. Like I said I havent checked it out, but I'm glad you pointed out the leaded deal. I'll have to swing by there when I'm in the area and check it out.

Update on tuner.

I put $50 worth of 93 octane in the RAM. Then of course installed the 93 octane tune. Not sure if Im super impressed from the 87 tune or if it's worth it. Truck ran a best of 6.37 with motion start which aint bad still. Still a full second from stock tune so that's better than nothing. Im deff satisfied just dont know if its worth running the 93 octane tune. I got a ecoboost a buddy of mine has I want to chew up and spit out first. I'll prolly go back to 87 tune.

Still not sure on why I got better mileage on the 87 performance tune over the 87 mpg booster. I just measured it by the what the truck said for a trip with soft driving habits.

Next question is this; I've read some about the Torque converters in these messing up. I hear a slight rattle when I stomp the truck from cruising around 40 mph. Not loud but can hear it. Is this the TC problem some folks have? It doesnt even last a .5 a second? any thoughts

It dang sure could be, but thought most issues were 11's and 12's...BUT, an Edge converter will make it ALOT quicker :)

I've read some about it, it makes that much of a difference?

Do you get into any warranty issues if something goes wrong?

I ran an ecoboost the other day after I ran the canned 93 tune. I run a 5.66 0-60 with my mods and I had a good length and a half until 65-70 when he started to run me down a bit. He had a CAI and an exhaust. With a tune to up the boost he would have ate me alive. If your buddy doesn't know how to boost launch then you have him because the lag on those trucks is pretty bad.

As far as the converter there isn't a "major" problem with them. Just a few bad apples. That could have been from a number of things. The rattle you hear could be just the exhaust flexing etc etc. I wouldn't say it was the converter right off the bat. I have beat the living crap out of mine and it seems to be just fine.

Cool, yeah Im still concerned he will beat me as I have only 3.21's but next performance mods will be the Moes TB and either VARAM or S&B....For now I may get just a k&n drop in for the race lol. Man I need to win the lottery. Either way, his is stock and he has no idea I have a tuner muahahahahaha. It will tear him to pieces inside if I win, but if I lose I really dont care.
