Trouble loading tune from Trinty........

2014 1500 6spd i bought used. Finally decided to use the trinity. Its not married, I updated it but when i go to load tune it wont save original backup. Anyone ever have this problem?

Sound like your truck already has a tune on it. There's no way that an updated programmer should have problems tuning a four year old vehicle. I would contact Diablosport tomorrow and see if they can tell you what to do to find out. Worse case scenario you take it to the dealer and get it reflashed and then you should be able to use the Trinity.

Funny thing is, i just had the cruise control recall done. When they flashed for it they fried my pcm. So that has been replaced. Ive google searched and saw another with same exact, to the T, problem but wasnt clear how the fixed it.

Ok then it sounds like the latest tune that Diablo has available for the RAM is older than the one the dealer put on there so the problem has to be with the tuner. I would definitely contact Diablo tomorrow and hopefully they’ll get you a more “up to date” update for your tuner pretty quick. Good luck!

Update.....So, long story short......when i installed the Kenwood and Maestro ive had a traction control light on. When swapped back to factory headunit, it goes out. I just did that and original back up was saved and is now writing tune to truck.....ill post once complete

Well, that worked. Tune is in the truck.

Now to figure out whats up with the kenwood and maestro throwing the traction control light
