Since my RCSB 3rd gen sits outside and its black, I am looking for a good cover and see if anyone here has any recommendations that are not financially out of the ballpark. I have seen some of the covers at the local parts houses but they are not much better than a blue tarp.

The Florida summer sucks when it comes to the vehicles.

Thanks!

From my experience with owning black trucks.... I would not put a cover over it. Every time you remove and replace that cover, you are gonna scratch the paint. I tried using a cover with a black truck once and after three months I was trying to repair the damage. Just my 2 cents.

If you are determined to keep it out of the sun then maybe something like a shelter logic garage would be better.

NOAH car/truck covers. Very soft, very durable. You can get them from several dealers. I never had any issues with scratches on either my true blue pearl or dark red trucks.

Thanks for the information, but unfortunetly I have no room for a shelter like that. I have heard about the NOAH covers. Will have to research them some more.

Thanks guys!

Try to check out Coverking also if you're looking for a custom fit cover.

I have a California Car Cover company cover for my dually, paid and arm and a leg for it, and after putting it on once (with the help of someone else of course)...i said F this....isnt worth it....i mean you can TRY to put a car cover on by yourself, but man those big ones are a pain to put on when its one person. Oh...and heaven forbid the wind be blowing at all, hang it up if it is !!!! :) LOL
