Truck running rough.

I drive a 2019 2500 6.4 V8 for work. When I was pulling on to the road to my house the truck started getting jumpy as I was turning and would not pull itself around the turn. I ended up turning it off and started it back up, not once, but two times and was able to get it home. Is was sitting on the phone at an idle talking to my boss and it started idleing really rough and died. It fired back up and ran OK until I got off the phone. Any ideas what I need to have the mechanic shop look at???
Any help will be great.

87, 89 or 91? Could you have picked up contaminated fuel?

87. Don't know if I have or not. Get gas at the same few places when I can. Actually filled up yesterday at a QT

Factory recommends 89 for that engine. I run premium when towing. Don't know what a steady diet of 87 would over time. But Im GUESSING a fuel issue...

About to go have a tune up done on it tomorrow. Do you think I should get some kind of fuel system engine cleaner and run it it??? And what would you recommend

Others will have more experience with additives than I. I have always run recommended octane or better, and Top Tier Fuel. No problems .

I have run 87 octane in mine 95% of the time and no issues. Granted, I have 100k fewer miles than yours.

I just traded my 2018 2500 in a few weeks ago. Had 119,000 miles, all with 87, towed my boat with it nearly every weekend. Never had any issues with it.
