I come again asking for advice!

The truck is an 85 with a 5.2 engine and 2 barrel Holley. Out of the blue, it started idling rough/low and not burning all the fuel. I'm not sure if it's due to too rich a mixture or what.

Here is episode 2 (where I was at previously):

I've since put on new plugs and wires (NGK & MSD), set the timing by TDC (locating it visually, by the dampener, and valves). I've also tried adjusting the idle screw. All of these made it better but didn't fix it. It's still puking out a lot of unburnt gas/fumes/smoke, but the idle is about right.

Where should I go from here? My best theory now is that there's an issue with the carb internally.

I would consider a compression test. If you don't have the tester, they're pretty cheap.
