I’ve got a 98 Ram 1500 5.2. Truck seems to have never came with the towing package, for some goofy reason. Lately I’ve been putting in towing accessories like the hitch receiver and 4 pin wiring harness.
Question is, do all trucks have the blue connector under the dash for the brake controller? I haven’t been able to find it at all under there near and above the main plug. I’m guessing I’m gonna have to wire that in and also to the 7 pin connector? Is there any kits you guys can suggest for someone in my situation? Again, I’ve got the 4 pin plug in (with the unwired 7 pin) and the hardware in.
