Truck won’t go into off road 2 mode

So I tired to put my truck in off road 2 mode and got the following:


Anyone ever experience this? If so what was the fix? Or do I need to go to the dealer?

My truck is a 2016 rebel.

Wont engage over a certain speed. Were you moving or parked?

Have tried parked. Stopped. At rolling at speeds under 20mph per manual instruction. All give the same message.

My Rebel should be able to go into this mode correct?

Other people use or have used this mode correct?

I believe the issue you are experience is due to the fact that the Rebel is already higher than the other trim lines, and technically doesn't have an offroad 2 level- on my '19 there is only offroad as an option above normal ride height. I believe the earlier models still used same switch configuration and software as the other trim levels- hence you cannot obtain offroad 2 as you are already there.

The Rebel dose not have offroad 2 , 85PRProspector is right all other RAM's with Air Ride do .

Can’t believe his manual wouldn’t state that for his Rebel since it’s different but yeah, if you look at his dash display, it would certainly show a 1 or 2 if it had it. His just goes into off-road mode.
