Truck won't start?

Using the key fob the truck won't start, but if I use the factory remote start the truck will start fine. Any ideas?

Ignition switch, unfortunately it's somewhat common.

Assuming you mean factory start:

1) the doors must be locked to start with the key fob
If they are already locked, just for kicks hit the lock button first.

2) If your low fuel light comes on the truck won't start or stay running. It saves you from running out of gas.
