I have a 2012, and so does a co worker. He told me a local accessory guy was telling him that trying to put tubes and such on the sides for steps, haven't worked well at all on the new models because "there isn't much there to grab onto with the frame" He stated that a lot of people's tubes/bars have been breaking off. Anyone else hear of this? I was about to order a set of N-FAB bars, and now I'm hessitant. Thanks guys!

i'm not so sure that's true. I have not heard of anybody with a 4th gen saying their step bars are falling off or failing.

I hadn't heard of anything either, but I'm not on forums that much. I've had it for a few months now, and we put on the AEM Brute Force Intake. Sounds good with that. It came with stock dual exhaust, my next thing is to change that out, but Im not sure what I want. *sighs* lol

I have a set on my truck and I don't have any issues. Actually i had to remove one of the support brackets on each side for it because I put a body lift on and with the spacers and the support bracket the body mount bolts didn't bolt in high enough and I kept getting a creaking from those mounting points. NO creaking now and the bars are just a strong as they were with the bracket.
