Hey guys Im trying to figure out something. Traded my 2010 qc for a 2011 crew cab 4x4. The 2011 already had a k&n cai on it and a muffler. When I test drove it Im sure that it already had a tune installed on it because shifts were firm and precise. I have a trinity so I decided to hook it up and it said "vehicle needs update."
I downloaded update and installed the 93 cand tune. The awesome shifts are gone and truthfully I miss it. The shifts now seem a little delayed and sluggish like factory. I still ran a 6.39 0-60 with 87 performance tune installed, but I miss those "hard shifts."
Can anyone give me insight as to what kind of tuner was in this before I wiped it out? The diablo shifts are like the factory shift. Before it felt like a shift kit was installed and you could feel the tranny bump hard when it shifted. I miss it
is this a bad thing or was there more strain on the tranny with the hard shifting. Even at crusing speed you could feel the gears "bump" into second and etc......
