Tuner info needed

Anyone have experience with this tuner ?
What all can you do with it , and is it worth the $

Lots of info and users of the DiabloSport tuners here. I'm sure most of what you'll read here is:

1. "Great product"

2. "Gotta update it first before you try to install it."

3. "Get a custom tune done."

4. "Get in touch with Moe's Performance for the best price."

I've used DS products on two HEMI powered vehicles and I found that they certainly were worth the money!

1. They optimize the air/fuel ratio.

2. They move the torque and HP gains down the RPM band and your vehicle will feel a lot more responsive.

3. There are functions you can use to change tire sizes, WOT shift points, throttle response and other settings for rev limiters, speed limiters and data logging.

With a Predator programmer & a custom tune I went from 368 RWHP to 412 RWHP on my 300 SRT8.

I'm sold on the DS products and will be adding a programmer to my 2014 6.4L powered truck soon.

Are these tuners interchangeable between vehicles or once it's programmed to a specific vehicle it stays with that vehicle?

Traditionally they are "VIN Locked" when loaded on a vehicle so can only be used on one at a time.

However, Diablosport is offering a multi-license arrangement on some of their products so, if you have a Ram and a Challenger for instance, you can license a second copy of the software for a fee and load tunes on both vehicles using one programmer.

Great info. I'm thinking about a tuner also. Just not sure of I should dump more money in to this truck cuz I got my heart set on PW in 2 years. I'll be following this topic cuz either way I want one some day.

Get one now and use it later on the PW. The one I have I originally purchased for my 2012 and it's working just fine on my 2014. You may have to purchase an unlocked PCM or something but the tuner will still work (that being said, that's the way they work these days)

Just one less mod you have to "buy" once you get the PW
